The response from Ghanaians to Citi FM’s<\/strong> call on\u00a0the general public to donate chalk to schools in Kukurantumi has been great.<\/p>\n

The station’s offices at Adabraka in Accra, since the request was made, has been flooded with boxes of chalk from many Ghanaians.<\/p>\n

The plight of the schools in the area, has recently been brought into sharp focus after\u00a0the headmistress was berated by the second lady. Mrs. Matilda Amissah Arthur for requesting chalk and other teaching materials.<\/p>\n

Their situation was further highlighted when\u00a0Citi News <\/strong>visited some of them during the week noting that most of them lacked the most basic of things.<\/p>\n
