{"id":130911,"date":"2015-07-03T06:08:59","date_gmt":"2015-07-03T06:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=130911"},"modified":"2015-07-02T20:10:24","modified_gmt":"2015-07-02T20:10:24","slug":"ibm-appoints-new-country-general-manger-for-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/07\/ibm-appoints-new-country-general-manger-for-ghana\/","title":{"rendered":"IBM appoints new Country General Manger for Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IBM (NYSE:IBM) today announced the appointment of Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh as Country General Manager, IBM Ghana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She succeeds Joe Mensah who served as IBM Ghana Country General Manager for the past five years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ms. Kyerematen-Jimoh will be responsible for all of IBM&#8217;s Sales, Marketing, Services and Global Delivery Operations in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She is a seasoned marketer with extensive experience in client relationship management, after working in the financial services and technology industries in Africa and Europe for the past 15 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She joined IBM in 2011 as the Territory Marketing Manager responsible for IBM West Africa, and later moved to Nairobi, Kenya as Strategy Leader for IBM\u2019s Central, East and West Africa operations.<\/p>\n<p>Kyerematen-Jimoh will oversee IBM\u2019s business in Ghana\u2019s fast growing Financial Services, Oil &amp; Gas, Telecommunications and Government sectors, with a focus on deploying IBM\u2019s advanced technology capabilities in Cloud Computing, Big Data and Analytics, Mobile and Security to solve current and future needs of institutions in these key economic sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Kyerematen-Jimoh is a graduate of Harvard Business School in Leadership Development and holds a BA in Marketing and French.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Mensah will be retiring from IBM after a successful 32-year career at the company. Under his leadership, he reestablished IBM&#8217;s corporate presence in Accra and deepened IBM\u2019s support for clients and partners in Ghana. Mensah has been instrumental in leading technology projects across different key industries in the country focusing on banking and financial services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoe Mensah\u2019s leadership over the last five years has certainly established IBM as a leading contributor to Ghana\u2019s economic development agenda.
