The Kasoa District Magistrate Court has sentenced a 28-year-old electrician to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful entry, stealing a power generator and a wheelbarrow.<\/p>\n
The convict, Kobina Duodu stole the items at Adam Nana, a community in Awutu-Senya East Municipality.<\/p>\n

Prosecuting, Detective Police Chief Inspector Abdulai Mohammed told the court presided over by Frank Oppong that the complainant is a taxi driver who works within Awutu-Senya East Municipality while the convict is an electrician residing at Kasoa.<\/p>\n
At about 0400 hours on June 19, Kobina Duodu hired the services of the taxi driver to convey his goods from Adam Nana to Kasoa Old Market.<\/p>\n
On their way to the Kasoa Old Market, the convict asked the driver to stop at a nearby bush where he entered and later merged with one power generator and a wheelbarrow.<\/p>\n
The driver then became suspicious and drove Kobina Duodu together with his goods to the police station.<\/p>\n
During interrogation by the Police the convict admitted stealing the items.<\/p>\n
