The Animal Research Institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has said the Institute will resist attempts by government to move \u00a0Old Fadama residents to\u00a0their offices at Pokuase, saying they need the space for their research activities.<\/p>\n

“You cannot sacrifice research for relocation. Government can do better..The land has been given to the CSIR for livestock production in Ghana.”<\/p>\n
Speaking on Eyewitness New<\/strong>s, Mr. Teye pointed out that though government\u00a0has a legal right to “take the land \u00a0it has to allow the CSIR develop science and technology instead”<\/p>\n
