President John Mahama has appointed a new chairperson of the Electoral Commission<\/a>\u00a0(EC),<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Charlotte Osei.<\/p>\n

According to a statement from the Flagstaff House, the President in consultation with the Council of State appointed the Chalotte Osei of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), to replace retired chairman, Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan who had steered the affairs of the Commission for about 20 years.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Osei, is a lawyer with considerable experience in public service management, institutional reform also has expertise in corporate law, banking, insurance, project financing and public-private partnerships.<\/p>\n
