Cyber security and digital forensics firm, e-Crime Bureau, outdoored its Board of Directors at a ceremony at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) on Friday June 12, 2015.<\/p>\n
The event, which was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps; leaders of the security agencies, government institutions, financial and corporate institutions and civil society organizations, was climaxed by a presentation of an award of recognition to Prof. Nii Narku Quaynor, Board Chairman of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) for his pioneering role in the development of internet in Africa.<\/p>\n
Prof. Quaynor also made a presentation on \u201cThe State of Cybercrime and Cyber Security in Ghana\u201d at the event and uncovered various issues of concern to corporate organizations and individuals.<\/p>\n
Prof. Quaynor is the first African winner of the prestigious Jonathan B. Postel Service Award from the Internet Society.<\/p>\n
