Commercial drivers who increased transport fares after recent increment in fuel prices are yet to revert to the old fares.

The Ghana Private Roads Transport Union (GPRTU) ordered the drivers to revert to the old fares pending consultations with other stakeholders.

Meanwhile, commercial drivers in Hohoe in the Volta Region unlike some of their colleagues in Accra and the Eastern Region have not increased transport fares yet.

According to Citi News’ Volta Regional correspondent, Macintosh Gratham transport fares have remained the same.
