{"id":12288,"date":"2014-04-10T14:30:30","date_gmt":"2014-04-10T14:30:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=12288"},"modified":"2014-04-10T14:30:30","modified_gmt":"2014-04-10T14:30:30","slug":"drivers-yet-to-revert-to-old-fares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/04\/drivers-yet-to-revert-to-old-fares\/","title":{"rendered":"Drivers yet to revert to old fares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Commercial drivers who increased transport fares after recent increment in fuel prices are yet to revert to the old fares.<\/p>\n<p>The Ghana Private Roads Transport Union (GPRTU) ordered the drivers to revert to the old fares pending consultations with other stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>However, <b>Citi News<\/b> checks indicate that the drivers are still charging the new unapproved fares.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, commercial drivers in Hohoe in the Volta Region unlike some of their colleagues in Accra and the Eastern Region have not increased transport fares yet.<\/p>\n<p>According to <b>Citi News\u2019<\/b> Volta Regional correspondent, Macintosh Gratham transport fares have remained the same.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHohoe to Accra through Attim Poku, is 18 Ghana cedis.
