The final funeral rites of late designer of the Ghana national flag, Theodosia Salome Okoh has been held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.<\/p>\n
She passed on in April at age 92.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n The funeral was attended by a high powered delegation from government led by Vice President, Kwesi Amissah Arthur, former President Jerry John Rawlings, some Members of Parliament (MPs), members of the sports fraternity, among others.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n She was later sent to the Osu cemetery for burial.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n She\u00a0was the first female Chair person of the Ghana Hockey Association; and the Accra hockey pitch has been named after her.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Until her death, madam Okoh was a patron of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n
