Some supporters of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Chairman, Paul Afoko, have clashed with the “Invisible Forces,” a security group guarding the party\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”5tWbLmsmIzYEitziOBzqNPdfeU31BcOg”]The Afoko supporters numbering over 20 stormed the party\u2019s headquarters around 12pm on Thursday to protest against attempts to remove the National Chairman.<\/p>\n

Citi News\u2019<\/strong> Franklin Badu Jnr. reported that the Afoko supporters\u00a0came to the head office chanting and singing songs in support of Paul Afoko.<\/p>\n

“They were saying that chairman Afoko should remain the chairman of the party.”<\/p>\n

But unknown to them, the Invisible Forces at the headquarters who were armed with clubs, stones and horse whips chased them away.<\/p>\n

According to Franklin Badu, “it was a brief commotion.”<\/p>\n

Two persons were injured during the scuffle but about 15 police officers are presently at the headquarters to maintain law and order.<\/p>\n

There were no national executives present during the incident.<\/p>\n
