The Union of Industry, Commerce and Finance<\/a> \u00a0Workers (UNICOF) will today protest the decision by the Agricultural Development Bank (adb) to maintain the Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Kpordzih.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”XO7y0V9ThRTQ54dgVpYjU8d0hSatRknP”]Members of UNICOF signalled their intent to embark on a series of public protests against the management of the bank over alleged acts of financial misappropriation and the scheduled Initial Public Offering (IPO) of the bank\u2019s shares.<\/p>\n They were however asked to suspend their\u00a0plans following a meeting with Employment and Labour Relations Minister, Haruna Iddrisu.<\/p>\n The bank also agreed to put on hold the IPO<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>which would have seen the bank offload about 100 million shares \u00a0representing 75 percent ownership of the bank to raise about GH\u00a2300 million.<\/p>\n
