The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Biakoye in the Volta Region, Nana Louis Akattah has died.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”3g3ASogiqb8vExT7Hj269AR8YnTkcQS5″]Nana Louis Akattah died on Sunday around 6:30am at the Margaret Marquart Catholic Hospital at Kpando.<\/p>\n
He has been DCE for Biakoye since 2012.<\/p>\n
Confirming his death to Citi News, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Biakoye constituency, Kwesi Bandua said: \u201cI think he has been sick on and off about two days ago he was sent to the hospital and he passed on this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that he had a good working and cordial relationship with the late Akattah.<\/p>\n
The Volta Regional Minister, Helen Ntoso visited the late DCE\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
The National Democrtaic Congress (NDC) in the Biakoye constituency is expected to meet on Monday to plan for his burial.<\/p>\n
His death brings to three, the number of DCEs who have died in recent times.<\/p>\n
In March, the DCE for Gomoa East<\/span>,<\/a><\/strong><\/span> Isaac Kingsley Ehun-Armah died after resigning on health grounds.<\/p>\n
