The country\u2019s Electoral Commission (EC) will begin its registration exercise today[Friday]<\/p>\n
The exercise, which will take place\u00a0 across 6,000 centers, will allow persons who could not register during the last exercise and those\u00a0 who turned 18 years after the last registration exercise.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”qaR1f19UzJmrGVUo8vZaWoLgE92WYGJ7″]The EC says the move is in accordance with Regulation 9 (1) of the Public Elections (Registration of Voters) Regulations 2012, (C.I 72).<\/p>\n
The Commission has advised eligible voters to register at EC offices across the country to carry along to the registration centre documents of proof such as a Ghanaian Passport, a driver\u2019s license, a National Identification Card or an old voter ID Card.<\/p>\n
