{"id":116302,"date":"2015-05-15T06:50:02","date_gmt":"2015-05-15T06:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=116302"},"modified":"2015-05-15T11:54:31","modified_gmt":"2015-05-15T11:54:31","slug":"mahama-must-save-our-businesses-from-collapsing-beauticians-association","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/05\/mahama-must-save-our-businesses-from-collapsing-beauticians-association\/","title":{"rendered":"Mahama must save our businesses from collapsing &#8211; Beauticians Association"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Hair Dressers and Beauticians Association (GHABA) has charged President Mahama to urgently increase efforts aimed at resolving the current power crises to save their businesses from collapsing.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;I2loJsbHkvghAlGG0lgK56BarNWg5VC7&#8243;]This comes on the back of a revelation by the University of Ghana\u2019s Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER) which estimates that<span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/05\/14\/2-2-million-lost-daily-to-dumsor-isser\/#sthash.lKluHDUs.bSeDbEcM.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\"> Ghana loses over 2 millio<\/a><\/strong>n<\/span> due to the effect of the power crisis on micro and small enterprises alone.<\/p>\n<p>Government has assured Ghanaians that the current power crises will soon be over as emergency power barges are expected in September to lessen the effect of the erratic power supply however\u00a0in an interview with <strong>Citi News,\u00a0<\/strong>the Greater Accra President of GHABA, Tina Offei Yirenkyi, said they were fed up with assurances from government.<\/p>\n<p>They therefore asked the Mahama-led administration to act immediately.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These people need this one[consistent power supply to survive]&#8230;.someone will go to the shop and bring about 10 cedis home before they can &#8230;make ends meet.As for the date it keeps on coming and coming and now as you can see everybody is frustrated because we no longer believe whatever people will say.
