{"id":114641,"date":"2015-05-08T10:10:40","date_gmt":"2015-05-08T10:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=114641"},"modified":"2015-05-08T10:28:20","modified_gmt":"2015-05-08T10:28:20","slug":"denu-cell-break-alleged-accomplices-granted-bail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/05\/denu-cell-break-alleged-accomplices-granted-bail\/","title":{"rendered":"Denu cell break alleged accomplices granted bail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Aflao Circuit Court has granted two persons who were charged with harbouring criminals who escaped from the Denu Police cell bail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;Z3DjUgpK5V2XDb43bs7tjzinXxGIAhAh&#8221;]The two, Augustine Gomashie, a traditional priest, and Ephraim Afedo, a fisherman, were granted bail in the sum of GH\u00a210,000 each, with three sureties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are to reappear before the court on May 21, 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/04\/16\/denu-cell-break-fugitves-plead-not-guilty\/#sthash.LdUFNgSw.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\">trial of the five persons<\/a><\/strong><\/span> who escaped from Police cells with two AK47 assault rifles and 50 rounds of ammunition began at the court on 15<sup>th<\/sup> of\u00a0 April this year..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Police have so far retrieved 13 rounds of ammunition and the two assault rifles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are yet to retrieve 37 rounds of ammunition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two other fugitives, both Nigerians, Albert Asadu and Tobechuckwu Obina, are still on the run.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Police in the Volta Region say they will <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/04\/14\/interpol-to-help-police-re-arrest-3-denu-fugitives\/#sthash.Da1I93wC.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\">liaise with the International Police (Interpol) in Nigerian<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, to help re-arrest the remaining two.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Kojo Agyeman\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Aflao Circuit Court has granted two persons who were charged with harbouring criminals who escaped from the Denu Police cell bail.
