The U.S. Embassy in Ghana has appealed to the residents of Akwamu Fie to assist the Ghana Police Service with information on the murder of the two American citizens.<\/p>\n

The Embassy expressed its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the victims, and added that it is in contact with family members provide the appropriate consular assistance.<\/p>\n
The statement also noted that \u201cdue to privacy considerations, we have no further comment at this time. We refer you to local authorities for details on the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n
