The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pledged to fulfill all the promises it made to the electorates during the 2012 election period.<\/p>\n

The Mahama-led administration is under pressure to deliver the many promises it made to citizens during the 2012 campaign period<\/p>\n
Many have threatened to vote out the NDC due to the party\u2019s inability resolve the many socio-economic challenges facing the nation.<\/p>\n
The NDC\u2019 s Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho in an interview with Citi News<\/strong> said the government will under no circumstance take the electorate for granted.<\/p>\n He said the government is working ease the economic burden on the general public, especially, the power crisis which is crippling many businesses.<\/p>\n Anyidoho said: \u201cYou promised certain things, you campaigned on a manifesto and you have power; you don\u2019t take the electorate for granted. It\u2019s as simple as that!\u201d<\/p>\n According to him, it is dangerous for any political party to take the electorate for granted because they wield the power to either kick the government out.<\/p>\n He pointed out that the voting public \u201ccan decide that out of apathy and out of disrespect for them, they will not come out and support.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey will not vote for the opponent but also not vote for you so that is a given \u2013 don\u2019t take the base for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By: Efua Idan Osam\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana
