President John Mahama on Friday signed a book of condolence opened for the late Mrs. Theodosia Okoh, designer of the Ghana National Flag.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”aMrsnEWXE09diz3pAkjYoOZ9DNhb3mkX”]Mrs Okoh who was also the first female chairman of the Ghana Hockey Association\u00a0died over the weekend at age 92.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah in a statement directed that all\u00a0national flags should fly at half-mast<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for the next 3 days nationwide in honour of Mrs Okoh.<\/p>\n

The President was accompanied by the Greater Accra Regional Minister,\u00a0Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, the Gender Minister, Nana Oye Lithur,\u00a0Minister of State in charge of Public-Private Sector, \u00a0Rashid Pelpuo, among others.<\/p>\n
