An Accra High Court has\u00a0for the seventh time adjourned a case of fraud brought against former National Service Secretariat(NSS) head,\u00a0Alhaji Imoro after state prosecutors asked\u00a0for more time to finish investigations.<\/span><\/p>\n This not the first time prosecutors have asked the court to give it more time to conclude investigations.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”P2uE4JYWG6wDkSiysEPf76kB3ehusn7s”]The state\u00a0represented by Senior State Attorney, Comfort Tasiame, in January\u00a0prayed a Fast Track High Court Tax and Financial Division to give it a\u00a0four-week adjournment to allow the prosecution to complete its investigations.<\/p>\n She said the investigations was still ongoing because of the nature of the case.<\/p>\n Alhaji Imoro was arrested and put before court last year after he was accused in a massive fraud at the National Service Secretariat.<\/p>\n He has pleaded not guilty to the charge of stealing GH\u20a186.9 million belonging to the state.<\/span><\/p>\n
