The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mrs. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has indicated that Ghana\u2019s Tourism sector is determined to increase tourism traffic from China to Ghana.<\/p>\n
She said that the first quarter of 2015 had seen the sector making strong presence at leading International Fairs in Europe.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”QtdRAnf2x7uYHzoyWkq1efb3dvQtKyrL”]A statement signed by the Minister said the sector had now refocused its international marketing and promotional drive on the Asian Tourism Market, and was participating in the on-going 11th China Outbound Travel Tourism Market (COTTM) in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n
She added that the Chinese tourism market represent a significant part of the world\u2019s tourism receipts,\u00a0and Ghana would have to take a fair share of the market.<\/p>\n
According to her, China is leading in International Tourism, with $129 billion in expenditure and hence Ghana had intensified its efforts in attracting a fair share of the Chinese market.<\/p>\n
