Where do we get gas from?We need to speak to other suppliers of Nigeria to get other sources and suppliers to pump gas into the West Africa gas pipeline. Ghana cannot do away with gas from Nigeria,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the VRA was setting up a ten year strategic plan to ensure consistent power supply.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that \u00a0\u201c\u2026\u2026In the first quarter of 2015, we will have an additional 110 units from the T2 expansion.In 2016, the \u00a0two projects will come up, the T4 and the Bogo Solar Plant which will also give us an additional 25 megawatts will also take off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Aboadze Thermal Plant in the Western Region which produces 132 megawatts of power was shut down in 2013 due to a fault.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the status of the plant , Mr. Fletcher stated that \u201cwe have done some work on the two gas turbines and the other ones that were broken down obviously has to be worked on.
