The hopes\u00a0of\u00a0 an\u00a0 NPP\u00a0 member\u00a0 to\u00a0 become\u00a0 a\u00a0 parliamentary\u00a0 candidate \u00a0in\u00a0 the\u00a0 Ayawaso\u00a0 Central\u00a0 Constituency were dashed today when he was heckled and turned away by constituency executives.<\/p>\n

When he turned up at the party\u2019s constituency office on Friday\u00a0to pick up his forms, the party office was shut and many calls he made to the party\u2019s constituency General Secretary proved futile.<\/p>\n
Following his inability to access the party office, he visited Sheikh I.C Quaye who was then in his family house located behind the party office.<\/p>\n
The constituency\u2019s party chairman and some executives who were present in the family house turned away Carl Dey in his quest to exchange pleasantries with them.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, Carl Dey dismissed suggestions that he was an intruder sent by the NDC.<\/p>\n \u201cI have never been a member of the NDC and I have never even visited the NDC Headoffice. I am a proud member of the NPP. I have visited this place several times so I don\u2019t know why they are accusing me of that but it doesn\u2019t shake me at all,\u201d he insisted.<\/p>\n He disclosed that he will make an appeal to the regional party executives for redress.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have to find a solution to this because Ayawaso Central needs a leader.
