\"motor_clamps_Tamale\"<\/a>The Police in Kumasi have announced a change in their modus operandi in patrolling the municipality to maintain law and order.<\/p>\n

Addressing the media, Deputy Ashanti Regional Police Commander ACP Osei Kwaku Ampofo-Duku said the police will now use motorbikes in their patrols instead of vehicles.<\/p>\n

This he this will aid the police to reach all the hide-outs of criminals saying, \u201cwe know motorbikes can maneuver in a lot of places where vehicles cannot go.\u201d<\/p>\n

ACP Osei Kwaku Ampofo-Duku mentioned that some criminals also embark on their activities using motor bikes \u201cand where they can pass, vehicles cannot so we need to pursue them and for that matter, we need to change our modus.\u201d<\/p>\n

He therefore appealed to philanthropists to provide the Regional Police Command with motor bikes to be used in their operations and help combat crime.<\/p>\n
