Twenty four houses were torched in the Bunkprugu\/Yunyoo district of the Northern Region, the Police have said.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”THzBofsV1ZMYFkgy9IGyDkw5egl0ev2V”]This was as a result of renewed chieftaincy clashes<\/strong><\/a><\/span> between the Jamong and Jafog clans on Sunday April, 2015.<\/p>\n The Bunkprugu\/Yunyoo Divisional Police Commander, ASP Felix Kumado in a Citi News<\/strong> interview maintained that relative calm had returned there.<\/p>\n According to him, security operatives on the ground were on a high alert and would not hesitate to deal with persons linked to the renewed clashes.<\/p>\n He urged residents there to remain calm and cooperate with the law enforcement agencies to smoke out suspects who sparked the renewed clashes.<\/p>\n
