\"Demolition<\/a>The Ga West Chief Executive has ordered a demolition of a one-storey building still under construction at Ofankor, a suburb of Accra.<\/p>\n

The directive was given because the structure looked weak and posed a possible threat to residents in the area.<\/p>\n

The District Police Commander at the Achimota Mile 7 Police Station, Peter Yembilla told a student journalist, Bilkis Nuhu Kokroko<\/em> that \u201cthe building wasn\u2019t strong. It was supported by a container and once the container was removed, part of the building came down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Demolition<\/a>According to the Police Commander, last year an articulator truck run into the building and weakened its structures adding that the materials used were inferior<\/p>\n

The demolition exercise is said to be causing huge traffic in the area.<\/p>\n
