The National Democratic Congress in the Ashanti Region has dissociated itself from a supposed petition made to the presidency to sack the regional Police Commander, DCOP Kofi Boakye.<\/p>\n
The Daily Guide newspaper reported today that some party supporters in the region have petitioned the President, John Dramani Mahama to remove the Police Commander and some two other officers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Nonetheless, Tandoh assured the regional executive will investigate the matter.He said they will meet persons suspected to be behind the said petition.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have no evidence so I still maintain that it\u2019s their opinion. They have to give us evidence and explain their action to us, because we don\u2019t want to interfere in the police work,\u201d Raymond Tandoh said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
