The Police administration has said it will not rule out the possibility of prosecuting some 14 person including three serving officers who have been implicated in the Special Police Task Force report.<\/p>\n
One of the three officers indicted is COP Patrick Timbila, Director General of Human Resource Development of the Ghana Police Service.<\/p>\n
The Special Task Force was set up to investigate the Police recruitment scam that hit the country in Febraury.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, Police Director of Public Affairs, Superintendent Cephas Arthur stated that a docket has already been sent to the Attorney General for advice.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cwe have submitted our report to the Police Council which tasked the Police administration to conduct the investigations.”<\/p>\n \u201c…14 individuals including COP Patrick Timbilla and two other Police officers\u00a0 were investigated in connection with the fraud.
