Mr Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, a Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, on Wednesday gave the assurance that the District Level Elections (DLE) would certainly come on.<\/p>\n

Mr Agyekum said this when he cut sod for work to commence on the North Dayi District Assembly Complex at Anfoega.<\/p>\n
The Supreme Court directed the Electoral Commission to call off the election<\/strong><\/a><\/span> scheduled for March 3, 2015<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, after an aspirant, Benjamin Eyi Mensah, a fisherman, contested the Commission\u2019s decision to disqualify him.<\/p>\n The Court, in a unanimous decision on Friday, February 27, declared the process leading up to the elections unconstitutional and directed the Commission to restart the process.<\/p>\n
