{"id":100481,"date":"2015-03-18T15:30:53","date_gmt":"2015-03-18T15:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=100481"},"modified":"2015-03-18T15:30:53","modified_gmt":"2015-03-18T15:30:53","slug":"dont-drag-mahama-into-woyome-saga-amaliba-warns-amidu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/03\/dont-drag-mahama-into-woyome-saga-amaliba-warns-amidu\/","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t drag Mahama into Woyome saga\u00a0&#8211; Amaliba warns Amidu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A member of the governing NDC\u2019s legal team Abraham Amaliba is accusing Martin Amidu of mischievously dragging the name of President Mahama and the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the Woyome scandal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIn all these the President&#8217;s name has never been mentioned, so why is Martin Amidu trying so hard to drag the president in this matter,\u201d he queried.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;9WU8MJancgcLZKkYLV1mpjWi3zXK0fGg&#8221;]The former Attorney General (AG) in his <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/contextly.com\/redirect\/?id=e3SB4PV3N4:100370:2534:13::yxkv3R0V9gLHrYauWJBE8WacA:only_previous:55097a362e07f1-73140329\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>recent statement on the matter<\/strong><\/a><\/span> stated that \u201cthe relationship between Lithur, Brew and Co as private lawyers to the president of the republic of Ghana, the appointment of Mrs. Marietta Brew Appiah Oppong as the Attorney General by the same President to oversee amongst other things sensitive cases involving his Government requiring impartiality\u00a0 such as the constitutional and criminal cases affecting Woyome and his associates in which the NDC clearly has a vested Political interest as a Government, are issues only a population of rabble citizens will overlook.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But Mr.\u00a0Amaliba refuses to accept this.
