This may assuage people’s doubts about reports on Yvonne Nelson’s ‘child birth’! She has finally released pictures of her pregnancy.

Yvonne who was reported to have given birth to a baby girl on 29th October, 2017 has now released pictures of her bump on her 32nd birthday, on her social media pages.

Most people received the news of her delivery with doubt because the actress had earlier come out to deny reports that she was pregnant.

However, the Wow Magazine captures Yvonne Nelson’s pregnancy photos and an exclusive interview they had with her.

In the interview, she talks about her experience through pregnancy, jilting her fiancé for another guy, and giving birth out of wedlock.

According to her, initially her mother was not happy she got pregnant without getting married first.

“My mum, she used to be a big on marriage. She was very traditional, marriage then baby until I got pregnant, it’s like everything changed. I guess your priority obviously changes to something else. She’s now more concerned about the baby,” she said.

Yvonne also disclosed that an ideal guy proposed to her on her 30th birthday but she dumped him because he wanted her to move to London.

“It’s quite funny because someone proposed and I didn’t even get to have a baby for the person and then this person who hasn’t proposed I’m having a baby for him. So it’s a vibe, its friendship, its understanding, it’s how happy the person makes you, it is not about someone putting a rock on your finger and you forget.’’

However, Yvonne is happy to have given birth now because it was something she had prayed for when she was 29 years old.

“…I pray to God all the time and I tell him that I want to start a family and have kids of my own, It was part of my prayers so I just knew that I’m not married but this is what I want to do. So when I did a test and it came out positive, I was truly happy.”

Even though she did not mention the name of the father of her baby, she said he is British, has had kids before, he is “super happy” about becoming a father again and is a responsible man.

Juliet Asante, one of Ghana’s celebrated film makers, has said that the answer to the woes of the movie industry is not about collating signatures.

Her statement was in response to the recent campaign by Yvonne Nelson for stakeholders in the film industry to sign a petition to be presented to the government over the ills that are gradually eating the sector up.

In an interview with KMJ on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz’, Juliet Asante commended Yvonne for the good step but added that the collation of signatures is for mere showmanship.

“I don’t believe in signatures. It is for showmanship and I understand because this is show business but we must attack the real issues. Signing signatures is not the solution to our problems,” she said.

Juliet also intimated that money is not the only thing needed to make the film industry thrive. According to her, there must also be the right policies to help propel the vehicle of production in the Ghanaian film industry.

Juliet Asante is the Founding President of the Black Star Film Festival whose second edition was recently held in Accra, Ghana.
