]]> Promoters of Selewa pop-up market are launching Selewa Deals ahead of Christmas this year targeted at creating value for businesses and market hunters.

The brand, seeks to offer its quality goods and services at highly discounted prices for the season.

The Head of Media Relations of Melon Concepts, promoters of the initiative, Gideon Kodo, said, “we believe the typical Ghanaian shopper appreciates good savings on their shopping but with a plethora of sources both online and offline, to shop, how do you tell you are getting the best offers on the market.”

The Selewa Deals platform offers shoppers the convenience of making purchases at the best market prices.

Mr. Kodo said the company has partnered over 60 brands across various business sectors including clothing, fashion accessories, health and beauty, restaurants, hotels, travel, car rental and laundry services among others.

The Programs coordinator for Selewa Deals, Rodney Ewusie-Moses told Citi News, the company is from November offering up to 75% discount on all sales on its website.

Some participating companies at the launch include Xmen Ghana, Allied Oil, Silverbird Cinemas and Golden Tulip Accra Hotels.

The service will be available on the Selewa Market’s social media pages.

GhanaThink in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Ghana is organizing TechCamp West Africa in Accra, Ghana from November 14 – 16, 2014 to address the primary concern of youth in the region — “Unemployment and Job Creation.”  Our objective as solution seekers is to create and develop a lasting network of change agents to increase regional communication, coordination, and ultimately trade across West Africa.   Together with private sector experts, the 100 selected participants will explore obstacles to small business growth and share the best practices for private and social entrepreneurs for solving regional challenges through idea-sharing, collaboration, partnership and learning.  Intrigued?
