The angry residents, earlier on Monday, vandalized the Somanya Police Station following the arrest of Ebenezer Jones Adamatey, the Assemblyman suspected to have led irate youth to attack the Somanya office of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) on Friday, May 26, over high electricity bills.

The police also announced it has arrested six persons in connection with the Monday incident to assist with investigations.
