The only musical show that has over the years kept its audience in a uniform attire of white top and jeans, had the auditorium looking bright with amazing outfits in various styles and shape.

The concert opened with Adomaa who did a ‘mushup’ of some great Ghanaian tunes to the relish of patrons. She was at her usual best.

Her performance was followed by B4Bonah, Magnom, and Fancy Gadam shook the foundations of the auditorium with an energetic performance. The Music Prince of the North seems to wield the magical wand to stage performance. In fact, it was infectious watching him perform to songs like ‘Total Cheat’ which features Sarkodie.

The atmosphere of the 2017 Decemba 2 Rememba concert got electrified when Nigerian comedian Bash mounted the stage to serve patrons a good dose of laughter.

His jokes got the entire audience in stitches. He is one of the surprises CITI FM promised fans prior to this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba, and really he lived up to expectation.

After that, Adina was on stage to do a rendition of her hit songs including ‘Too Late’ and ‘Makoma.’

The auditorium got more charged up when the Lynx Trio took the stage. Kidi, Kuami Eugene and MzVee were phenomenal on the night.

Kidi got the crowd dancing and cheering to his two popular songs, ‘Odo’ and ‘Say You Love Me.’

Kuami Eugene, another great act from the camp of Lynx Entertainment, followed with his performance. He did ‘Boom Bang Bang,’ the popular ‘Angela,’ among others, after which MzVee joined him on stage to do ‘Rewind.’

MzVee took over and did songs like ‘Sing My Name,’ ‘Natural Girl’, among other hit songs from her repertoire.

The concert also featured the ‘90’s bad girl’ Ebony Reigns who thrilled the audience with a magical performance. The ‘Maame Hwe’ hit maker started with her gospel song Aseda and followed with other songs like ‘Kupe,’ ‘Poison,’ ‘Sponsor’ ‘Date Ur Fada’ and ‘Hustle.’

Kurl Songx joined her on stage as they did ‘Feeling’, and later left him on stage to do ‘Jennifer Lomotey.’

The programme ended with King Promise who also came in to add on to the fun and excitement for the official Christmas party.

The 2017 Decemba 2 Rememba was ably hosted by Osei Kwame and AJ Sarpong of Citi FM, and Nigerian comedian Bash, whose sense of humour really lighted up the auditorium.

In attendance were footballer Asamoah Gyan, actress Lydia Forson, and actor Van Vicker among others.

Some patrons also won amazing prizes from the sponsors.

Decemba 2 Rememba is an annual musical concert organised by Citi 97.3 FM which has over the years generated much excitement among music lovers.

Many have speculated that the Afropop and dance hall artiste does drugs, a reason she exposes much flesh during performances and lives quite an outlandish lifestyle from her peers.

However, the ‘Poison’ singer said in a Facebook Live interaction on Citi FM’s fan page that she does not smoke.

“No, I don’t smoke,” she replied to the fan.

Ebony, who calls herself ‘the 90’s bad gal’ has been mauled for her suggestive lyrical prowess and erotic antics on stage.

However, her recent song, ‘Maame Hwe’, which preaches against domestic violence, has won the hearts of many who hitherto had a negative perception of her.

Following recent bashing from the public for ‘exposing’ her genitals at the 4syte Music Video Awards, she has been seen at two different shows covered up than before.

Ebony is among some top musicians billed to perform at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba organized by Citi FM.

Other artistes performing at the concert on 24th December at the Accra International Conference Centre are Kidi, Kuami Eugene, MzVee, Wutah, Adina, B4Bonah, Magnom, Fancy Gadam, King Promise and Kurl Songx.

The addition of the comedian is part of the surprises for this year’s concert.

Decemba 2 Rememba, an annual concert organised by Citi FM, is a platform that hosts the most sought-after artistes and entertainers.

According to Jessica Opare-Saforo, Programmes Manager of Citi FM, This year’s programme promises to be electrifying as all the artistes prepare fervently to give off their best.

“Every year of Christmas Eve, Citi FM puts together what is called the biggest concert which features all the hitmakers of the year so typically what we do is we scan the music landscape to see which artistes are making hits. And we have a surprise comedy act from Nigeria,” she said.

This 2017 Decemba 2 Rememba will feature the ‘90’s bad girl’ Ebony Reigns, ‘Daavi’ MzVee, Lynx Entertainment’s newly-signed acts, Kidi and Kuami Eugene.

To whip up the ambience of the Christmas season, re-united Wutah will do justice to ‘Bronya,’ and other hit songs from their repertoire.

The Pride of the Northern Region, Fancy Gadam, King Promise of ‘Oh Yea’ fame, music producer and singer Magnom, ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hitmaker Kurl Songx, Captain Planet, Adoma, B4Bonah and many other entertainers will be at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba.

In an exclusive interview with Osei Kwame, he stated that he decided to venture into singing so that he could have absolute control over his career even though doing the two has not been easy.

“It’s been difficult combining the two because I still work as a producer and I am an artiste performing at shows; so that makes it hectic,” he said.

He also noted that he would be embarking on a nationwide tour in 2018 so that he can get closer to his fans and win new ones.

Magnom is among the top artistes lined up for this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba scheduled for 24^thDecember, 2017. He entreated all and sundry to get their jeans and white tops ready to party.

“I’m very excited about it. It’s a very big event. Everybody looks out for Decemba 2 Rememba every year. My fans should expect something to remember,” he said.

Magnom has produced 25 songs in 2017 and the songs are from different music genres. He has hit songs like ‘My Baby,’ ‘Tsoobi’ and ‘Bum Bum.’
