]]> The Ministry of Education enjoyed the highest budgetary allocation of GHs7 billion in 2016.

This is the highest single allocation made to the ministry throughout the year, with the second highest budgetary share of GHs3 billion going to the Ministry of Health.

The two ministries, are part of the ministries under the social sector that received a lump sum allocation of  GHs10.1 billion.
