However speaking on Eyewitness News<\/strong>, the former Attorney General\u00a0said he was not scandalised by the ruling since the judge’s decision was based on evidence available to him.<\/p>\n \u201cIf a judge has said I am not satisfied that a prosecution has proved a case beyond reasonable doubt I don\u2019t see why I should be scandalised when indeed I have not seen evidence”<\/p>\n Otoo\u00a0pointed out that he will go along with the ruling until “there is evidence that the Judge did not draw the proper inferences that he ought to have drawn from the evidence that was given.”<\/p>\n He further charged the various institutions involved in the case to weigh the evidence they have and take their decisions appropriately.<\/p>\n Allow AG<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Ayikoi Otoo has emphasized the need for the Attorney General to be allowed to appeal Woyome’s ruling.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n The Attorney General and Minister for Justice Marietta Brew-Appiah Oppong told graphiconline.com that \u201cWe disagree completely with the judgment of the court.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe are applying for a copy of the judgement, study it carefully and appeal accordingly,\u201d Mrs Appiah-Opong added.<\/p>\n Giving his perspective on the AG’s decision, Ayikoi Otoo said\u00a0“If the AG intends to file the appeal let her do it.
