The Upper East Regional leadership of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is threatening a massive demonstration over what they say is neglect of the three Northern Regions by the Mahama administration.<\/p>\n

Addressing a news conference in Bolgatanga, Regional Youth Organizer Ibrahim Bashiru announced the resolve of indigenes of the three northern Regions to demand their fair share of the national cake.<\/p>\n
\u201cIndeed the people of the north are suffering and our suffering continues as the days go by,\u201d he lamented.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Ibrahim Bashiru indicated that \u201cthe three north regions are united against being abused by politicians who don\u2019t mean well for us.\u00a0 We intend to organize series of demonstrations across the country to highlight the problems of our region and it is important to make the point that in the coming days the people of upper east region will have no option than to pour on the streets to press home our demand because we are suffering and indeed the suffering is just unbearable.\u201d<\/p>\n
The leadership of the NPP, in Febraury staged a demonstration exercise in Accra<\/strong><\/a><\/span> to protest what they say is the power situation and its debilitating effect on the economic.<\/p>\n
