{"id":98206,"date":"2015-03-10T13:27:11","date_gmt":"2015-03-10T13:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=98206"},"modified":"2015-03-10T13:27:11","modified_gmt":"2015-03-10T13:27:11","slug":"we-could-have-provided-better-chairs-for-judiciary-wood-makers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=98206","title":{"rendered":"We could have provided better chairs for judiciary \u2013 Wood makers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Wood makers Association of Ghana is insisting that they are capable of providing the furniture needs of government agencies, contrary to claims that they do not have the capacity to do so.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This assurance comes in the wake of the recent acquisition of furniture by the Judicial Service <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/03\/09\/photos-judiciary-also-imports-furniture-from-china\/#sthash.FoEXkeK4.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>from China<\/strong><\/a><\/span> to furnish their newly constructed 42-courtroom building complex in Accra.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_97832\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-97832\" style=\"width: 631px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/1.2021843.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-97832\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/1.2021843.jpg\" alt=\"china chairs for judiciary\" width=\"631\" height=\"355\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-97832\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Some of the imported furniture for the Judiciary<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The judicial service argued that they had to import the furniture from China because of time constraint and specifications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commenting on the latest development, a member of the Wood makers Association, Samuel Diabor, would however not condemn the preference for Chinese furniture over their products but stressed that they are capable of producing same in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said \u201cwe could finish that building if the specifications are clear to we local manufacturers.
