{"id":98047,"date":"2015-03-10T09:25:55","date_gmt":"2015-03-10T09:25:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=98047"},"modified":"2015-03-10T09:25:55","modified_gmt":"2015-03-10T09:25:55","slug":"eye-on-sotnghana-pictures-of-tarkwa-bogoso-ayanfuri-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=98047","title":{"rendered":"Eye on #SOTNGhana: Pictures of Tarkwa Bogoso Ayanfuri road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The President in his <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/02\/26\/full-text-mahamas-state-of-the-nation-address\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>State of the Nation Address<\/strong><\/a><\/span> talked about some major road projects under construction\u00a0in the Western Region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the President, work is progressing on the popular Tarkwa, Bogoso, Ayanfuri road, Ayanfuri to Asawinso, the Agona Nkwanta Elubo road and the Kwesimintsim Nkroful bypass.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-8.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98057\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-8.jpg\" alt=\"Tarkwa Bogoso Ayanfuri road (8)\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0checks on these projects confirmed what the President mentioned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri Road for instance is under construction by Reynolds Constructions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98060\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-11.jpg\" alt=\"Tarkwa Bogoso Ayanfuri road (11)\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even before the project comes to an end in 2016, the long hours spent on this 70km stretch and the effects of the potholes have significantly reduced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However residents along these stretches will have to endure the dust which enters\u00a0their homes and the vegetation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98059\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-10.jpg\" alt=\"Tarkwa Bogoso Ayanfuri road (10)\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Work on the Kwesimintsim Nkroful Bypass, even though should have been completed by now is also progressing steadily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The delay according to engineers working on the project was due to the extension of the project distance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98058\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-9.jpg\" alt=\"Tarkwa Bogoso Ayanfuri road (9)\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This dual carriage when completed will ease the congestion which has characterized the Nkroful Junction Kwame Nkrumah roundabout.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-98056\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Tarkwa-Bogoso-Ayanfuri-road-7.jpg\" alt=\"Tarkwa Bogoso Ayanfuri road (7)\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Fijai Junction Kansaworado bypass has also seen redevelopment.
