The referee is the boss of that, he decides.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bellerin was replaced shortly after and replaced by Calum Chambers. Incident two \u2013 Di Maria dives With United trailing 2-1 and 15 minutes remaining, Angel Di Maria throws himself to the floor and is booked for a tame dive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Incident three \u2013 Di Maria sees red <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Argentine\u2019s yellow quickly becomes a red as, amid confusion around Old Trafford, the club\u2019s \u00a359.7m record signing grabbed the shirt of Michael Oliver.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Chief football writer Phil McNulty:<\/strong> \u201cDi Maria was utterly senseless to tug at his shirt to see a second yellow.\u201d John Murray, BBC Radio 5 live commentator: \u201cAngel Di Maria walks off the field and they\u2019re applauding him. \u201cBut for goodness sake, two yellow cards for that behaviour, he\u2019s cost his side a place in the semi-finals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He grabbed the referee\u2019s shirt and you simply cannot do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Incident four \u2013 Januzaj booked for diving <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Five minutes were left on the Old Trafford clock as United attacked the Stretford End in search of an equaliser. Adnan Januzaj attempted to get past Nacho Monreal and fell to the floor by the byeline with the home fans appealing for a penalty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oliver waved away the appeals and awarded an Arsenal free-kick, booking the Belgian for simulation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Phil Neville on BBC Radio 5 live:<\/strong> \u201cJanuzaj showed brilliant ability on that right-hand side to go past Monreal, but it\u2019s a brilliant decision \u2013 there was no need to go over.
