The Takoradi circuit court A on Tuesday sentenced Nana Ahenkofi, a seventy year old man to ten years imprisonment for defiling a five-year old girl.<\/p>\n

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Veronica Gibson told the court presided over by Mrs Rita Doku that the two accused persons lived in the same vicinity with the victim at Effia in sekondi\/Takoradi in the Western Region.<\/p>\n
She said on February 8, the two men lured the victim into one of the accused chamber and had many rounds of unnatural canal affair with the small girl.<\/p>\n
Chief Inspector Tibson added that two then threatened the girl not to disclose her ordeal to her parents.<\/p>\n
The mother of the victim was said to have detected blood stains in the girl’s panties days after the incident but did not suspect any foul play until two of her teachers detected serious viginal and anal bbleeding around February 9 at school.<\/p>\n
The prosecutor added that a medical report confirmed that the victim had been def iled and upon interrogation, mentioned the names of the two accused.<\/p>\n
