The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers in the region.<\/p>\n
The three suspects are; Yussif Salam, Kassim Sani and Wilson Sulley aged 26 , 25 and 22 respectively.<\/p>\n
Brief Facts\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n On 26th February, 2015, the Accra Regional Police Command had a tip off that a gand of robbers were planning to attack a residence in Israel, a suburb of Accra.<\/p>\n The command however swiftly displaced a team of Policemen to the location to avert the situation and arrested the robbers on their arrival at the residence.<\/p>\n The Police retrived a gun, one foreign pistol and five rounds of live ammunition from them.<\/p>\n Preliminary investigations have also revealed that the gang of robbers are responsible for other armed robbery activities in that particular area and its environs.<\/p>\n The three are currently in police custody assisting the Police with investigations.<\/p>\n Advice<\/strong><\/p>\n The Accra Regional Command in a statement, also asked the general public to be “security conscious at all times and not hesitate to report unknown persons who loiter in their communities “to the Police.<\/p>\n It further reminded the public of the Police Informant Reward System which is still active.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n By: Marian Efe Ansah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers in the region.
