A former Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Dr Nsiah Asare has described as \u201cdiversionary\u201d reports of his receipt of an estimated amount of GH\u00a2717,000 from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”M5wa1FBzEBqdUnFYJH37gRx1nOQZcZqc”]The hospital had to cough out the amount following a legal action instituted by Dr Nsiah Asare after he was asked to proceed on leave in 2009.<\/p>\n
He prayed the court to award cost against the hospital for what he said was his wrongful dismissal, a prayer the court upheld.<\/p>\n
Dr Nsiah Asare is reported to have been paid an amount of GH\u00a2712,002 and GH\u00a2251.68 for unlawful termination of his appointment in 2009.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi News<\/strong> Dr Nsiah Asare explained that the payments made to him went through due process and questioned the timing of the publication.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is my legitimate due. It went through a process and the process came to an end and it was concluded. It concluded sometime ago and not yesterday so I am surprised the information is now out,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n According to him, his detractors were behind the publication of his financial claims to portray him in a bad light.<\/p>\n
