We\u2019ve spoken with the Police, we\u2019ve finish with them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Mr Payne noted that they will begin the demonstration at\u00a0the State boys\u2019 park near the Suame roundabout and they will go through the Bantima High street and Kejetia as well as other principal streets in the region and later\u00a0end at the Jubilee Park.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the leadership of the NPP in a statement endorsed the demonstration<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n A press statement signed by the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwabena Agyepong noted that \u201cthe NPP wishes to announce to the entirety of Ghanaians that it endorses the \u2018Yabr\u025b Demo\u2019 which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday February 25, 2015.”<\/p>\n The party\u2019s General Secretary urged members of the party, civil society and artisanal groups to join the demonstration since the \u201ceconomic gains made in our country have been eroded over the past 6 years of the NDC rule.\u201d<\/p>\n He said Ghanaians \u201ccontinue to suffer unprecedented economic hardship coupled with an unending power crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n In a related development, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region were supposed to stage a demonstration exercise in the Ashanti Region, on February 24 aimed at thanking President Mahama for initiating unprecedented projects in the region but later called it off citing security reasons<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n –![\"npp-demo-2\"](\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/npp-demo-21.jpg\")
