Ahead of the re-opening of St Paul\u2019s Senior High School following a temporary closure, the Chaplain of school Rev Father Franklin Adjaho has prayed for God\u2019s protection from evil forces that is dragging the school\u2019s image into disrepute.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”1PihZNNxpCGKxVOMNkd1BCpJkRH1Yal9″]Rev Father Franklin Adjaho on Friday while leading members of the school\u2019s PTA in a closing prayer at a meeting held to discuss the reports by the committee of inquire on the recent riot, called for the Holy Spirit\u2019s intervention in the affairs the school.<\/p>\n

“We commit the spirit of sodomy into care; that every child coming to this school and being possessed by that spirit, we destroy by your blood. We know oh lord that you have planned that a man and woman would marry and give forth. May that spirit of sodomy jumping among the youth, destroying them be broken in your blood!!”<\/p>\n

The Roman Catholic School has been in the news recently over the death of a student following a rampage by students protesting against what they said was the school authority\u2019s attempts to condone gay practice in the school.<\/p>\n

Incredibly the committee formed to investigate the riot in its report confirmed the negligence on the part of school authorities<\/strong><\/a><\/span> in dealing with issues of sodomy on campus.<\/p>\n

The chaplain in his prayer professed that although necessary measures are being taken to avert future occurrence of such activities, divine interventions remain paramount.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the headmaster of the school Mr. Francis Hlogbey, disclosed to citinews students would resume school this week to continue academic works.<\/p>\n

He therefore called on all students to exhibit good behavior in their return to trudge along as leaders of tomorrow.<\/p>\n

“I wish that when they come back they focused on what they are supposed to do. They should be purposeful; they are in to learn and therefore that should be their primary concern on campus. When they see anything going wrong, they should report to the appropriate quarters; the channels of communications are there, they should take the law into their own hands,\u2019\u2019 he advised.<\/p>\n
