Citi News<\/strong>, Mr. Ahiawordor said the party cannot stage a demonstration against government since the current crisis is a result of the lack of foresight of previous governments, including the NPP.<\/p>\n\u201cThis is an accumulated problem, problems that have existed and have not been tackled well over the years. I believe that previous governments have not done their part of the duty to ensure that there is sufficient power for generations unborn,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
The political scientist asked the opposition party to refrain from seeking to score cheap political points with such a sensitive national issue.<\/p>\n
He noted that the protest was unnecessary especially at a crucial time when government was instituting measures to address the\u00a0crisis.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven political, it is not necessarily that the reasons may be justified particularly when government has outlined a number of measures that is trying to use and particularly when you take to account the fact that this is not a one-day problem.\u201d<\/p>\n
