{"id":91951,"date":"2015-02-16T19:00:16","date_gmt":"2015-02-16T19:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=91951"},"modified":"2015-02-17T11:19:38","modified_gmt":"2015-02-17T11:19:38","slug":"parts-korle-bu-pharmacy-department-burnt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=91951","title":{"rendered":"Parts of Korle Bu pharmacy department burnt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pharmacy Department of the Korle Bu teaching Hospital caught fire on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The fire according to officials at the hospitals was caused by a faulty air- condition in one of the offices.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/IMG-20150216-WA00131.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-92159\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/IMG-20150216-WA00131.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20150216-WA0013\" width=\"630\" height=\"473\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A timely intervention by the fire service prevented the fire from spreading to cause more damage.<\/p>\n<p>Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer for the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital says no casualty was recorded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just want to assure that no patient or staff was injured in this outbreak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The damage according to Mr. Salifu was limited to office equipment and furnishing in the room.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the fire has in no way distrupted the services the hospital is rendering at the pharmacy department.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This has not affected the operations of the hospital,\u201d he assured.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Betty Kankam- Boadu\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pharmacy Department of the Korle Bu teaching Hospital caught fire on Monday afternoon.
