{"id":91823,"date":"2015-02-16T12:24:40","date_gmt":"2015-02-16T12:24:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=91823"},"modified":"2015-02-16T14:13:41","modified_gmt":"2015-02-16T14:13:41","slug":"photos-tetteh-quarshie-footbridge-to-be-completed-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=91823","title":{"rendered":"[Photos] Tetteh Quarshie footbridge to be completed in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Persons with disability will not struggle to cross the pedestrian footbridge at Tetteh Quarshie from March, 2015 \u00a0according to\u00a0the Department of Urban Roads.<\/p>\n<p>The Director for Urban Roads, Alhaji Abass Awolu said on the <strong>Citi Breakfast Show\u00a0<\/strong>that even though there are currently no signs the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>footbridge is disability friendly, there are arrangements to make the changes\u00a0by next month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/T-Quarshie-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-91915\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/T-Quarshie-3.jpg\" alt=\"T Quarshie-3\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/IMG_8058.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He also revealed that &#8220;government will get everything[on the project] completed before the end of March.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The ash steeled footbridge which is being constructed at the Tetteh Quarshie bus stop is about 85 percent complete.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/T-Quarshie-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-91918\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/T-Quarshie-6.jpg\" alt=\"T Quarshie-6\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Awolu revealed that about three similar bridges are currently under construction in different parts of the Accra.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/T-Quarshie-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-91917\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/T-Quarshie-5.jpg\" alt=\"T Quarshie-5\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are looking at three bridges in Accra.
