The much anticipated Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of HFC Bank has been postponed again.<\/p>\n

A shareholder of HFC Bank early last week threatened to go to court again to put on hold the organization of the bank\u2019s meeting which had been scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday February 17, 2015.<\/p>\n
An Accra high court on Monday February 9, 2015 dismissed his application for stay of execution on the grounds that his shareholder had no valid lawyers\u2019 Annual License to practice in Ghana at the time of filing his first stay of execution something he has denied.<\/p>\n
He subsequently filed for an appeal at the Appeal court last week to stop the meeting from being held tomorrow.<\/p>\n
A letter from the bank to shareholders on Friday said following the filing of an application for motion for stay of execution pending appeal dated the 12th February 2015, the Extraordinary General Meeting requisitioned by Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) of HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited (the \u201cCompany\u201d) scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 17th February 2015 at Christ The King Parish Hall, Accra is hereby postponed.
