{"id":91350,"date":"2015-02-14T06:31:59","date_gmt":"2015-02-14T06:31:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=91350"},"modified":"2015-02-14T06:48:06","modified_gmt":"2015-02-14T06:48:06","slug":"tuna-shs-riot-police-yet-apprehend-teacher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=91350","title":{"rendered":"Tuna SHS riot: Police yet to apprehend teacher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Police in the Northern Region say they are yet to apprehend the teacher who reportedly forced a female student to strip naked for wearing the wrong attire which\u00a0triggered a riot at the Tuna Senior High Technical School in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;W5yX4bFGcazDHpTQCVb5vKditlKcJjTB&#8221;]Some students of the school on Thursday went on rampage destroying school property over the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/02\/13\/tuna-shs-closed-riot\/#sthash.Z67Vc2oW.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>alleged inhumane treatment<\/strong><\/a><\/span> meted out to their colleague.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on <strong>Eyewitness News<\/strong>, the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Divisional Police Commander, ASP Francis Numado said though the lady in question has reported the case to the Police, they are yet to arrest the teacher.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe went to the campus he was not there so that is why we have delayed in picking him,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ASP Nyumadu also noted that all 38 students who were arrested in connection with\u00a0the riot have been granted a Police inquiry bail, adding that, three students of the school are currently in Police custody for being the brains behind the riot.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAll the 38 students who were picked earlier have been granted bail.
