Students of St. Paul\u2019s Senior High School (SHS) in Denu have been asked to go home\u00a0following a rampage that left a student dead and several others injured.<\/p>\n
The students were reportedly protesting against attempts by the Police to protect their colleagues whom they accused of sodomy.<\/p>\n
A teacher at the school said the students who reportedly caught two\u00a0colleagues sodomizing insisted on “delivering instant justice to\u00a0the suspects.”<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2019These boys said they wouldn\u2019t agree because the teachers have not been\u00a0doing anything to students practising gay in the school\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

The intervention by the Police to prevent further clashes rather fueled the\u00a0riots as students were seen hurling objects at the Police and destroying\u00a0school properties.<\/p>\n
The students also barricaded the major roads and burnt\u00a0lorry ties.<\/p>\n
The two suspects; first and second year male students were purportedly seen\u00a0caressing and having unnatural sex.<\/p>\n
Some of the students who\u00a0spoke to Citi News<\/strong> said they were compelled to immediately penalize their\u00a0suspects because the school authorities have been condoning such acts in\u00a0the school.<\/p>\n “The school is ready to penalize us when we wear unsubscribed attires but\u00a0fail to apply the rules when other colleagues sodomize,\u2019\u2019 they said.<\/p>\n Some of the students have also accused the Police of having a hand in their\u00a0colleague\u2019s death saying,\u00a0“the Police came opening fire on us and one of the stray bullets hit our\u00a0friend.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
