{"id":8745,"date":"2014-03-26T09:58:16","date_gmt":"2014-03-26T09:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=8745"},"modified":"2014-03-26T10:01:23","modified_gmt":"2014-03-26T10:01:23","slug":"gas-supply-from-nigeria-has-increased-gridco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=8745","title":{"rendered":"Gas supply from Nigeria has increased &#8211; GRIDCo"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_8746\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8746\" style=\"width: 530px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/William-Amuna.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8746\" alt=\"William Amuna, CEO of GRIDCo\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/William-Amuna.jpg\" width=\"530\" height=\"409\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8746\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">William Amuna, CEO of GRIDCo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) says gas supply from Nigeria has increased quite significantly.<\/p>\n<p>This is after a delegation from Ghana led by the Minister of Energy and Petroleum went to Nigeria over the shortage in gas supply from that country.<\/p>\n<p>Supply of gas to Ghana dropped to about thirty million British thermal units from the initial quantity of fifty million.<\/p>\n<p>The shortage also led to a shortfall of the contractual volumes of \u00a0British thermal units expected from Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <b>Citi Business News<\/b>, the Chief Executive Officer of GRIDCo, William Amuna said the increased gas supply has added back a hundred and ten megawatts of power from the Cenit plant in Tema.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYesterday about 110 megawatts was added to the system again and the gas supply from Nigeria has actually improved.
